BM-UFS
BM-UFS is a newly developed inlet screen from BioMizing, focusing on function, operational reliability, working environment and ease of service.
BM-UFS consists of two separate units:
- The screen section
- The scraper section
BM-UFS is adapted to the desired channel width and height, discharge height, slot width and positioning.
BM-UFS is supplied as standard in acid-resistant steel EN1.4404, which is fully pickled after processing.
BioMizing also offers control panels, grate function control and other related peripheral equipment.
The screen section:
The screen section is a fixed slotted screen, which is available with slot widths (clearance) from 0.5 mm to 3 mm (other slot widths available on request).
The slatted screen consists of vertical, specially designed profiles that are conical, ensuring optimal flow and reducing blockages. To stabilise the slatted screen, there are a number of cross-supporting profiles. These profiles have rounded edges to reduce the build-up of screenings and thus blockages.
The scraper section:
The scraper section is removable, so that servicing, including replacement of scraper elements, can be easily carried out in an optimal working environment. At the same time, the screen can still be used, albeit at reduced capacity.
The scraper section itself is controlled by two slide guides that are permanently mounted on the side walls of the channel. The side guides are positioned precisely in relation to the screen section. This means that the scraper section always has the correct distance and engagement with the screen section, ensuring perfect scraping of the slotted sieve without unnecessary wear. At the same time, it ensures that screenings and other objects are gently lifted for discharge.
