BM-AADS
BioMizing has developed an automatic and mobile dosing system, BM-AADS, for optimal and proven acid dosing.
Most wastewater treatment plants today are equipped with bottom aeration in the process tanks, which oxygenates the water.
Aeration at a wastewater treatment plant typically accounts for up to two-thirds of the plant’s total energy consumption, which is precisely why it is important to ensure that aeration is as optimal as possible. The size and number of bubbles are crucial to the diffuser’s efficiency and thus energy consumption, and regardless of the type of diffuser and membrane, the membrane gradually becomes clogged. This is due to several factors, such as limescale and other organic deposits.
This clogging is typically removed by adding an acid to the blower air supplied to the diffusers, thereby reducing limescale and deposits. A common feature of these acid treatments is that they are often carried out on an ad hoc basis, without much control or documentation.
That is why BioMizing has developed an automatic acid dosing system.
Diffuser acid treatment is best carried out with an optimised and controlled addition of acid, ensuring that the acid is dispensed as a mist and that an appropriate and controlled amount of acid is dosed over a specific period.
The system is designed for a maximum acid dosing rate of 45 l/h at a pressure of approx. 3 bar (other capacities and pressures available on request).
BioMizing offers the following
- Acid washing of diffusers with subsequent report (covering everything from the acid used to handling and staffing)
- Service contract, including acid washing at fixed intervals
- Leasing of the system
- Sale of the system
- Supply of connection pipes, including valve and plug
- Installation of connection pipe
