BM-Stop Logs
BM-Stop Logs are used for blocking off or regulating ducts and structures.
BM-Stop Logs are available in two types:
- BM-SL-W for wall mounting.
- BM-SL-C for duct mounting.
BM-Stop Logs are supplied as standard and are constructed as follows:
- Steel frame; stainless steel EN1.4301 or acid-resistant EN1.4404.
Aluminium profiles, available in three types with widths of 50, 100 and 150 mm, are specially developed by BM. The profiles can be individually connected. Aluminium profiles are supplied as standard in seawater-resistant grade EN AW-6060/6063 T6, and can be supplied either assembled or individually, depending on the application.
Seals between aluminium profiles and frames are supplied as standard in EPDM rubber.
Slide rails between aluminium profiles and frames are supplied as standard in polyethylene PE-HD 1000 (black), which offers the highest resistance to UV exposure.
Bolt material: acid-resistant A4 steel.
All stainless steel is fully pickled (dipped) after processing, ensuring the best possible corrosion protection.
BM-Stop Logs can also be supplied with a clamping device that ensures the aluminium profiles are ‘pressed’ against the base/base frame. Furthermore, an automatic lowering and lifting device can be supplied, enabling the aluminium profiles to be lowered or raised using a specially designed lifting mechanism.
