BioMizing was chosen to carry out a major upgrade of the aeration system in four process tanks at Aalborg East. Our task was to replace the existing aeration equipment and carry out a complete flow optimisation.

Our work included replacing the previous aeration solution. Installation of new, highly efficient AEROSTRIP® diffusers. Optimisation of air distribution and construction of an improved energy base. Adjustments and test runs to ensure stable operation and optimal oxygen transfer.

BioMizing has supplied and installed 672 AEROSTRIP® Q-4.0 diffusers.

The result is a more energy-efficient and reliable aeration system that strengthens the biological treatment process and reduces future operating costs.
