BioMizing has just installed the last energy-efficient AEROSTRIP strip diffusers from Austrian company AQUACONSULT at the Damhusåen WWTP, and the bubble test has been completed without any issues, which means that BIOFOS can now commission the last tank set.
This means that the total of more than 11.000 energy-efficient AEROSTRIP strip diffusers of type EU-Q4.0 have been delivered and installed at the three BIOFOS WWTP.
Lynetten – 7.000 pcs. Q-4.0 (installed: 2021-24)
Damhusåen – 2.704 pcs. Q-4.0 (installed: 2024-25)
Avedøre: 1.600 pcs. Q-4.0 (installed: 2014-15)
It has been a great pleasure to contribute to energy-efficient and reliable bottom aeration solutions at all three BIOFOS WWTP, with a focus on optimized oxygen transfer, lower energy consumption and long-term stability.
